Tall Oregon Grape

Mahonia aquifolium

Oregon Grape is an evergreen shrub that typically grows 3 to 6 feet (1 to 2 meters) tall, though it can sometimes reach heights of up to 10 feet (3 meters). It has glossy, holly-like leaves that are divided into several spiny leaflets. In the spring, it produces clusters of bright yellow flowers, which are followed by dark blue berries in the summer.
